    2100 Central LLC is underway with the renovation of a historic manufacturing and office building located in the Crossroads Arts District at 2100 Central, Kansas City, Missouri.

    The building is a 3.5-story concrete, stone and brick structure that was built in 1912 as a manufacturing facility for the Meriden Creamery Company.  It is located on a zero-lot-line parcel 50 feet deep by 145 feet long, thus floor plates are approximately 7,250 square feet.

    Ownership is currently restoring the historical building shell to its original character and condition while installing all new mechanical services and systems, high-speed elevator, egress stairwells, new lobby entrance and a 1st floor garage/loading area for a Lower Level, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor office building with a 1st floor restaurants.  The exterior brick façade with stone architectural detailing has been tuck pointed and cleaned to highlight the historic character of the building.  The lower level of the building is the largest floor plate, as it picks up sizable area under the sidewalks, and one of the most dynamic spaces in the Crossroads.  The ceilings are nearly 17 feet high with prominent concrete columns and beams anchored by 4 feet tall windows on both sides.  The original lobby entrance on Central has been redesigned to create a grand entrance to the lower level as well as an entry to the 1st floor.  1912 historically correct wood and glass garage doors are crafted and used along the 21st Street facade to infill the former garage door openings as well as provide sliding wall openings to the restaurant patios.  The old loading dock on the north façade is being rebuilt and extended to a total length of 115 feet and be covered with a more contemporary, transparent steel and glass canopy making a signature statement while not detracting from the historical structure.

    A rooftop addition to the building creates a clubhouse and garden patio with unparalleled KC skyline views for the commercial tenants.

    The Suites conference room with AV equipment and presentation screen, plus kitchen and lounge seating area.  All Suites tenants share this plus the rooftop clubroom which is about 750 kitchenette and 1,000 SF open outdoor seating.  Tenants will also be able to use the rooftop deck of 2101 Broadway.
